The UAE free zone ecosystem continues to operate in the normal course of business and remains fully engaged in supporting companies with ongoing corporate and regulatory procedures.
At present, customer portals of several free zones are temporarily unavailable or operating with limitations. The disruptions currently affect the digital platforms of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Dubai South, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), as well as Ajman Free Zone (AFZ).
As a result, certain online services, including corporate application submissions, amendments to company records, and processing of administrative requests, may be temporarily limited.
According to representatives of the respective free zone authorities, the current situation is related to a technical issue affecting a global service provider. At this stage, free zone authorities are unable to provide confirmed timelines for the full restoration of portal functionality. Technical teams are actively working to resolve the issue and restore services as soon as possible.
Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) commented on the situation as follows:
“We would also like to inform you that our customer support systems, including Portal 360 and the Mobile App, are currently experiencing a temporary interruption due to a technical issue affecting a global service provider. Our teams are actively working with the provider to restore full functionality as soon as possible.”
Despite the temporary limitations affecting digital platforms, free zone authorities continue to support businesses through alternative communication channels. In some cases, requests and corporate procedures are being accepted and processed manually.
Authorities are also making efforts to accommodate urgent corporate and licensing matters during this period.
Authorities and technical teams continue to monitor the situation and work with service providers to restore full digital functionality.
