Stanislav commended the high level of preparation demonstrated by the teams from India and Azerbaijan: compelling presentations, in-depth reasoning, and precise answers to challenging questions from the arbitrators. He noted the tremendous amount of effort the participants invest in analysing complex cases involving foreign elements and conflicts between different versions of international instruments.
Stanislav drew particular attention to the relevance and intricacy of the moot problem prepared by the organisers, which addressed restrictions on the supply of goods and dilemmas concerning the parties’ good faith. The UCL partner emphasised that he is always delighted to take part in such intellectual competitions.
Following two days of intense competition, the team from HSE University (Moscow) emerged victorious, facing representatives from the University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) in the final round.
Stanislav extends his gratitude to the organisers for the invitation and for fostering a professional atmosphere.
